A Man's Gotta Do is a delightful Australian film starring John Howard. With its endearing characters and distinctively Aussie flavour, this warm hearted comedy is a real crowd pleaser.

Most men hold their head high, put their back to the wall and do what they must do to give their family what they want. This is the story of one such man. Eddy owns a fish trawler, has a beautiful home with all the mod cons, an attractive wife Yvonne, and a 19 year old daughter, Chantelle, who is engaged to a Russian air-con specialist. Life seems pretty normal, except for the last 25 years, Eddy has been secretly moonlighting as a "standover" man and Chantelle's finance Rudi, has seemingly "disappeared".

So Eddy hatches a plan to better understand his daughter and recapture the closeness they once had - by enlisting his right-hand man, Dominic, to secretly read Chantelle's diary. More secrets than anyone was prepared for begin to surface with shocking yet hilarious results.
